Michael (Mike) Griggs is an accountant-turned-software engineer-turned CEO. In the field for more than two decades, he’s passionate about how technology can drive business transformation.
Helping others adopt new tech has long been part of Mike’s work. As an accountant, he advised software engineers how to build a SQL database to assist revenue reporting. This changed how the entire company tracked and billed.
Looking to get away from the grind of corporate life, he was drawn back to the family business. In his role of IvyTek CEO, Mike leads a dedicated team of programmers, project managers, and client services and business development professionals. He’s enthusiastic about helping clients take their businesses to the next level of profitability through innovative approaches to loan management.
A veteran of the United States Navy, Mike is also a member of the Sault Ste. Marie tribe of Chippewa Indians. Combining his deep connection to this community with his professional expertise, Mike serves as board treasure for the Chippewa Government Solutions and Sault Tribe, Inc.
Outside of work, Mike loves the beach and the woods, where you can find him hiking, kayaking, and fishing. He lives in St. Johns, Florida, with his wife Sandy Griggs.
